Wilkinson's
history is one filled with many achievements. During our long
history beginning in 1948, Wilkinson has always been a leader in the
development of new products which provide function and value to
consumers.
From
the development of the Wilkinson Wheelbarrow to the manufacturing of the first T.V.
Dinner Tray and state of the art plastic containers, Wilkinson has lead the way in ingenious leadership and
engineering.
Today,
Wilkinson's dynamic growth reflects the knowledge learned from our
history. Producing over 4.5 million containers each day, Wilkinson
is demonstrating that with each new direction, accomplishments are
earned.
Wilkinson, although
now also a major supplier of both plastic and aluminum containers, originally began making food packaging products with aluminum solely. In 1953, Wilkinson produced the world’s first three compartmented foil T.V. dinner tray for C.A. Swanson & Company in Omaha.
Beginning
in 1953 with the development of the first aluminum foil TV dinner
tray, Wilkinson has always sought the most innovative solutions to
conventional packaging problems.
Looking ahead,
the company's focus is clearly aimed at better serving the total
needs of our customers. Further investment in manufacturing
technology and equipment will expand our product offering, providing
more solutions to our customers' packaging needs.
Our commitment is to provide customers with total satisfaction and
the best value for their packaging needs.
