is located in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska. For over 55 years it continues

Effective April 30, 2009, Wilkinson merged with the disposables
producer, Dispoz-o Products, Inc. of Fountain Inn, South Carolina.
Dispoz-o manufactures disposable plastic cutlery, drinking straws,
meal and dietary kits. Like Wilkinson, Dispoz-o is customer-focused
and quality-driven serving the foodservice/restaurant, grocery,
processor markets as well as education, healthcare and other
industries. Founded in 1963, Dispoz-o has its own environmental
brand, Enviroware™, of which includes cutlery, foam products, straws

In April 2004, Wilkinson became privately owned by the investment
firm, Mid Oaks Investments LLC while in May 2009, Dispoz-o
was purchased by Mid Oaks. Dispoz-o/ Wilkinson remain an even
stronger contender in the packaging/disposables world making a
smooth transition to their new ownership and now as the combined
company.

Wilkinson began serving the food packaging industry in 1953.
Working together with C.E. Swanson, Wilkinson helped Swanson
develop the first three-compartment aluminum container known
as the “TV dinner” tray. Wilkinson produced the first trays
for Swanson and from there also made aluminum pot pie
containers for Swanson. Pictured here are some of the first
versions. |

Within the manufacturing facility, Wilkinson extrudes OPS,
PET and PLA sheet, thermoforms all containers and domes,
forms aluminum foil containers and converts roll stock into
foodservice foil products. |

locations maintained and supported by a technically advanced
radio frequency control system providing real time, and
on-line information for Wilkinson customers. |
